Orga would like to thank everyone who visited our stand at Offshore Energy in Amsterdam from 25–26 October 2016.

The exhibition was a great success for Orga and gave us the opportunity to showcase and demonstrate our world-renowned smart signalling, obstruction marking and lighting solutions.

With the focus on offshore energy the event brought together companies from the oil, gas, offshore wind and marine renewables industries, providing Orga with the perfect platform to present its state-of-the-art marine aids to navigation, helideck lighting and aviation obstruction lighting systems together for the very first time.

The Orga team was delighted to welcome so many visitors – including regulators, government organisations and operating companies – to discuss how Orga’s LED lighting solutions help ensure compliance with constantly evolving regulations and standards for the life of the asset.

Jeroen van Wolferen, Regional Sales Manager at Orga said: “It was good to meet with new and existing customers and to offer a one-stop navaids solution for the oil, gas and wind energy industries. During the past 40 years we have established ourselves as a trusted name in these industries.”

“At Offshore Energy, we were able to discuss Orga’s complete portfolio of marine and aviation navigational aid solutions that meet the diverse requirements of customers, their assets and the regulatory environment in which they operate.”

Christian van Beest, Marketing Manager at Orga said: “The impact of the low oil price is well documented and while exploration and development activity has decreased, it is expected that the pace of decommissioning will accelerate during the next five years.

“Our solar powered marine navigation system, designed to help companies meet IALA (International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities) marking and lighting requirements during the decommissioning process, attracted a lot of interest at the show, as did our staged system replacement initiative which was launched to help customers upgrade their ageing Orga navaids system in three easy stages.”

Daniel Powell, Product Group Manager for Helideck Lighting at Orga said: “We have exhibited at Offshore Energy for more than five years and the event is always well attended. It was a great opportunity to catch up with existing clients and see what our competitors are doing.

“With less than 18 months before the UK CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) March 2018 deadline for installing Circle-H helideck lighting, visitors were concerned about ensuring compliance with CAP437 – the internationally acknowledged guidance for offshore helicopter landing areas. Orga can help simplify the decision-making process as our Circle-H TD/PM system is the only offshore helideck lighting system on the market that has been rigorously tested against all sections of CAP437 and approved by the UK CAA through its subsidiary CAA International.”
