With only days to go until Europe’s premier wind event EWEA 2014 blows into Barcelona, the wind energy industry won’t have to wait too long for a world-first sneak glimpse of Orga Aviation’s next generation smart aviation LED obstruction light.

All LED obstruction lights are not created equal and visitors to this year’s EWEA exhibition will soon discover the difference with Dutch company Orga Aviation on Stand 7E83.

Orga Aviation’s patent-pending fourth-generation medium-intensity LED obstruction lighting solution builds on the success of its highly successful and popular L450 series, bringing a host of innovative features all in one single, smaller and lighter unit to deliver optimum performance and lower the total cost of ownership.

Designed for long life and years of cost-effective and maintenance-free operation, the new microprocessor controlled white and red LED and IR system boasts cutting-edge optics, automatic day/night sensor, integrated monitoring and a self-contained power supply in a compact design for easy use and installation.

With all international hardware solutions now consolidated into one model, Orga Aviation offers its growing global customer base a unique certified obstruction lighting system. Optical engineering at its best, the smart lighting solution is precision engineered to meet the minimum requirements specified within international and national regulatory standards whilst attaining maximum functionality.

Matthieu Scheffers, Orga Business Manager for obstruction lighting, is on countdown to Barcelona. He said:  “Orga Aviation is delighted to be exhibiting again at EWEA’s annual event, this will be our sixth year. As the international platform for the wind energy industry, EWEA 2014 is the ideal opportunity to showcase our newly developed product.

Scheffers acknowledges the strategic advantage that an in-house research and development department commands. “Orga Aviation has been working hard and our investment in new technology and product research means that we can offer innovative obstruction lighting solutions to the wind energy industry,” he said.

Scheffers believes that with the new smart obstruction lighting range, Orga Aviation has confirmed its commitment to continue to produce precision-engineered aviation obstruction lighting systems which will help minimise capital costs and costs of ownership. He said: “We are totally focused on continuing to give our customers a sustainable competitive advantage by keeping ahead of emerging technologies.

EWEA 2014 takes place 10–13 March 2014 at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain. Discover the difference, Orga Aviation will be exhibiting on Stand 7E83.
