With more than 40 years’ experience in the field of explosion proof protection, Orga X-proof introduces the new Orga ExTouch – a unique explosion proof capacitive touch screen specifically designed for use in hazardous environments. Harsh and challenging conditions associated with offshore oil and gas and complex processing industrial environments demand ultra heavy-duty industrial grade explosion proof equipment that can deliver the ultimate in safety, performance and reliability. Mounted in a rugged flameproof Ex d enclosure, the Orga ExTouch explosion proof capacitive touch screen is certified to meet ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 and 2 standards for hazardous gas and dust environments and brings enhanced functionality to any hazardous and remote location. Glove friendly cutting edge multi-touch capacitive touchscreen technology provides a fast and intuitive interface for users, enabling critical information for almost any process application – including flow metering, level indication, temperature and pressure monitoring – to be rapidly viewed and analysed for the safe and efficient control of operations. The explosion proof touch screen comes standard with an industrial grade extended temperature PC which features the powerful yet energy-efficient Intel® Core i3-4010U processor ready for software to be downloaded. Available in standard and tailor-made solutions in various sizes to suit any application, the chosen flameproof Ex d protection method allows maximum flexibility as non-certified equipment, extra terminals or components can be added and installed within the enclosure.
