FPSO
FPSO’s and other type of floating production assets are most of the time positioned in deep sea areas around the world. That is why special attention is needed to mark these structures to avoid accidents or collisions with passing vessels.
Orga’s Aids to Navigation system is a way of marking these FPSO assets as safely and efficiently as possible, as in the past years, it has been proven to be reliable. The requirements of the system are written in recommendations and regulations that vary between countries and regions. Because of our close relationship with the regulators and more than 45 years of experience, Orga can provide you with the assistance and recommendations during the design and supply of the Aids to Navigation system.
We know that cable lengths on FPSO’s are often an issue. From the battery pack / control panel to the marine lanterns and foghorns the length can be up to 250 meter or more. Orga’s Digital Navaids Central Control Panel (D-NCCP) is a modular, inverter controlled concept. This means that the marine lanterns and foghorns can be connected with small cable diameters, which will save on cable and installation costs.
The touchscreen user interface on the control panel makes full interaction possible, so users can control and monitor the complete system. As the touchscreen is part of the D-NCCP, we can optionally provide a remote control panel with the same touchscreen feature. This way you can view the status and control the system from remote location.
Because of the modular design of the system, it can easily be combined with a helideck lighting and aeronautical obstruction light system and save costs.
