Meet Orga at WindEnergy Hamburg

From 22 to 25 September, Orga will once again be attending WindEnergy Hamburg, the biggest and most important trade fair for the global wind energy sector. You can find us at Booth B6.551, where we’ll be showcasing our latest aeronautical obstruction lighting solutions for onshore and offshore wind turbines.

As the wind industry continues to grow, so does the discussion around the impact of obstruction lighting on nearby communities and wildlife. At Orga, we’re continuously looking for ways to improve our solutions and help reduce light pollution without compromising aviation safety.

Many wind farms already rely on ADLS systems, and Orga’s products integrate seamlessly with these solutions. With an ADLS system, obstruction lights are activated at night only when an aircraft is detected nearby. ADLS thereby significantly helps to reduce unnecessary light emissions.

This year at WindEnergy Hamburg, Orga will be introducing the new L550-63BR-SEI-G medium-intensity obstruction light. The light intensity of this light is reduced by more than 40% at an angle -1 degrees or less! This means a noticeably lower impact for people and animals at ground level, while still fully complying with ICAO Annex 14 requirements for obstacle lighting.

The development reflects our ongoing commitment to creating solutions that balance aviation safety, operational efficiency, and environmental considerations.
