History

Orga started 40 years ago as an electrical service and maintenance company working on North Sea Offshore Oil and gas platforms. While inspecting and servicing installed marine lanterns, foghorns, aviation obstruction lights, DC power systems and explosion proof electrical equipment, the company developed ideas and innovative products to improve the reliability of these systems contributing towards enhanced safety and reduced operating expenses.

After a period of more than 10 years of product development Orga began to manufacturer their own range of products in 1985. Amongst the first clients to install Orga systems were NAM (Shell / Esso) in the Netherlands, and Shell operating companies in the United Kingdom and Malaysia. Their example was soon followed by most of the major oil and engineering companies.

Today, Orga is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of state-of-the-art hazard warning lights, radar response beacons, foghorns, fog detectors and many other navigational aids, as well as lighting, solar power supply systems and explosion-proof solutions for customers in the aviation, offshore and petrochemical industries.
